My hubby threw me a little party yesterday so I''ll have some pics to share in a few!

Ok, so I really wasn''t expecting anything for my birthday but hubby and my family really went above and beyond. It was the best b-day I have ever had, ever! I really felt so special so I hope you don''t mind me sharing!

A good friend of mine sent me flowers on Saturday, which was a total surprise, so I called her right away to thank her and I was soooo excited! Mr.7''s wondered why I don''t give him that reaction when he gives me flowers and I jokingly replied that he doesn''t have them "sent" to me (which is true, they typically still have the price tag on from the grocery store, but I am certainly not complaining!

) so he went out and picked out gorgeous flowers to have a bouquet arranged for me! When he came home I was in the yard with my children and he said that there had been a delivery for me so when I went to check they were at the front door with a bottle of champagne (I LOVE champagne!!!!

)!

Later that day I was speaking to my mom who told me how much she loved the flowers that he had bought me... but wait, she hadn''t seen them!?!? So I asked her how she knew and she said that hubby had come over and asked her to deliver them to me!?!? Sneaky hubby, lo, he is so silly sometimesl!!! He really wanted me to think they were delivered!!! He''s such a goof! They really are beautiful flowers, all the daisies actually sparkle!

I didn''t expect anything else after that and just thought we would have a nice quiet day with our children on Sunday.

When I woke up my boys gave me beautiful cards that they had made for me!! And my husband told me not to go into the fridge in the basement. My children knew what was in there and it was just hysterical watching my 7 yr old try and keep a secret!! He had ants in his pants all day!

I didn''t think that anyone was going to come over either but my brother called and wanted to come over with his wife (one of my best friends) and children, so at that point I figured it was time to get out of my pj''s! (I would stay in my pj''s all day long if I could!!

)

Hubby started to make a lasagna (he loves to cook and I thank my lucky stars every day!) and my mom came over. We had a wonderful lunch and then it was time for cake!

This is the one hubby got me, so cute, and the reason I couldn''t go in the fridge!

My mom has never been big on birthdays, even when we were growing up, so this was such a wonderful surprise, but that wasn''t it!!! I opened up a beautiful gift from her to find this!

It was so cool Lorelei, and it was sooooo yummy too! We almost hated cutting into it though!

I was so happy with the box (it sparkles!!!

) that I didn''t even think to look inside, but to my surprise this is what I found!

It''s a bracelet that was given to my mom when her Aunt past away years ago with a 1932 ten dollar gold coin attached to it. Most of these coins were taken away and melted down during the depression so it is rare but it is also verrrrrrry sentimental. I still can not believe she gave it to me, and I am still in shock! It isn''t a very wearable piece but I have always adored it!!

What transpired with your hubs on the flowers sounds exactly like something that would happen here, I love it.

I''m so glad you had such a great day. We really don''t expect much (and usually don''t get much either) as we get older, so surprises like this are all the more meaningful. And just think, the best is yet to come.
