Thankyou ladies!!!! I have just got into work this morning and found this thread and I am just so touched!!!! A big thankyou to all of you who remembered my big day!!!

Thankyou guys all so much for your Bday wishes - it was such a nice suprise when I got into work this morning - my computer at home has been down so I couldn''t log in last night before my Bday dinner.

My BF was such a darling yesterday!! He spoilt me rotten. He was up at 4.30am to put the oven on for warm croissants and fresh OJ for my breaky. I had to leave at 6am so he was adorably sleepy in his robe and my gigantic Elephant slippers that he loves to wear.

He looks so cute in them!

I just remembered, I have a pic of him wearing them somewhere, I will have to try and find it and post it - he would soooo kill me

Over breaky he gave me my pressie - a brand new camera!!!! 8 megapixels and 3 x optical zoom or something equally impressive sounding! And yes, it has macro mode. Last night at dinner I was playing with it for the first time and I checked straight away how to change the mode and he just looks at me smiling and says - I know what you are up to! I know why you want to use macro mode! Arrow shots hey?! The boy is learning fast.

Anyway, had a nice day at work, cleared my day so I didn''t have too many experiments so I could go to morning tea and have bday cake with everyone. Then my two buddies from work dragged me to the pub in my lunch break, and the three of us shared a bottle of bubbly over lunch. I have discovered that my motivation level is inversely proportionate to the amount of alcohol I consume at lunch.

Then darling BF took me to my favorite restaurant in the city and we had a wonderful dinner and I had more wines! Fell asleep in the car on the way home, so I didn''t even get my ''other present''

Had a touch of a headache this morning

Must have been the rasperries in my dessert?!?!

The party is this Sat night for about 30 friends, having it catered with fingerfood so I don't have to work and their will be lots of bubbly and strabwerry dacquiris!! Can't wait!! Honey is going to feel a bit crappy on Sun morning lol!

AJ - Happy Bday to you too! I am actually a Cancer - on the cusp. My Mum is the first day f cancer and I am the last day. Another useless crap fact that you will never use again hey?!
