Hopefully I don''t have too many spelling errors as I''m halfway through a bottle of red wine

Today is my b''day and I got the best gift. Well, it''s not actually in my hot little hands but should be in about 3 weeks! I ordered my ring!!! Finally took the buying-plunge with BF''s approval. Poor man had very little say in it cause I did all of the communicating with ERD.com. But today I decided on my diamond and it will hopefully be in production tomorrow! It''s kind of weird cause I haven''t seen it IRL like if I''d gone to a B&M shop. I just have to hope and pray that it looks as beautiful as I think it will based on the website and Gary''s opinion

Ok, off to eat birthday cake (BF bought me an ice cream cake from Cold Stone Creamery!). Oh, he got me an iPod touch that is so cool!! I''m a total Mac wh*re so I love all things Apple! And he bought me 2 cases for it and let my kids give me those **sweet**.

Oh, and the agreeement is that I can''t see it till he proposes. It will sit on the mantle (like the iPod did for 2 weeks!) till the big day

It''s ironic I actually went to an electronics store and ran into my old boss from there. The old(only about 7 years older than I really) married boss that had 5 kids and wanted to get in my pants.

Luckily I pretended I didn''t see him. And after I quit, he got in contact with me to tell me that he was getting a divorce, and did I want to get together?

That answer was "NO!"

Anyway, back to regularly scheduled birthday celebration!!

Hi! He gave me one hot pink "skin" that has the ability to attach to an armband or belt clip. I''ll probably use that when I walk the dog. The other one is a little leather case that opens to see the screen. It has openings on the bottom for the charger and earphones. That''s the one I''m using right now since it protects the screen.
Love the iPod! now my kids can use the older one and I don''t have to share my new one

That's a lot politer than I woulda been! Not to thread-jack, but...why is it that......

1) Men who hit on us inappropriately are almost always very married with 2+ kids? They are never single
and hot and attachless (then again, it wouldn't be an inappropriate hit, would it?)

2) And why is it that they conveniently are getting divorces?

I only say the above because I recently got hit on by an old boss, also. Mind you, he was never appealing to me in any way, shape or form. Yes, he was/is married with 3 kids (two teens and one almost-teen).....but that wasn't the sole cause of his un-appeal (would have been enough, though). He is also bald with a bad comb-over, hikes his pants up Urkel-style and has an annoying tone of voice. Not a week after I saw him in a store, I got an e-mail, basically asking me out. So I said, "Aren't you married?" And he wrote back, "Well...I'm separated." So just to be a sneak, I drove by his house (under 5 miles from where I live; I no longer drive same car I did when I worked with him, so I did this undetected). A minivan with carseats was parked next to his in driveway. So I got back on e-mail and wrote back, "Separated, huh? Then why is your wife's minivan parked in your driveway next to your car? Or is that the babysitter's? And what's up with the carseats? If I recall, your kids are too old for carseats." I assumed the minivan was his wife's, being that it had a (classic!) "Soccer Mom" bumper sticker on it.

He never wrote back. That....weiner..... was probably trying to get a little extra attention...being that
there seems to be a new baby in this horribly unhappy pre-divorce house.

More importantly....
