i have a quick story to share!!
two years ago, on easter i was driving home from my bf''s place( this was our first easter together)
anyways i was driving on the highway and a BUNNY jumped in front of the car! i was going to fast to do anything.
i''ve never hit anything EVER while driving, and to my luck. i hit a bunny on easter.
none the less, the irony is there..

(i don''t drive on easter and xmas no deers or bunny''s will get hit by mee!)

Happy Easter Kaleigh and everyone!
I''m hosting easter dinner at my house for several of my girlfirends and the their kids! All of our hubbies are out of town together right now...so we girls do our celebrating together! Only one man is allowed, and that''s because he''s just gotten back from Europe and we''d like to pick his brain a little before he heads back out! Should be good fun...cocktails were mentioned and hopefully will be enjoyed!

Happy Easter all...
It''s at our house this year...we''re doing a BBQ with marinated super thin skirt steak from this awesome supermarket in ''little mexico'' downtown (i got 6 lbs!!), deviled eggs, spinach artichoke dip and blue chips, a green salad, chili beans, toasted rolls with butter, grandma''s spanish rice and some sort of pasta dish. YUM.
oh and i got a small box of peep bunnies for us in honor of easter though we don''t really eat much candy! my mom is in charge of dessert and she said she had gotten a huge trough of stuff, uh oh!

Happy Easter everyone!
I am going home tomorrow morning with my BF to visit my parents. Breakfast is going to be our big meal tomorrow. Bacon, eggs, cinnamin rolls! Homemade cinnamin rolls and sticky rolls are a big tradition in my family!

Happy Easter everyone!
We have been outside for the last two days doing some heavy duty planting and mulching. What a job!
My kids are away this Easter so my neighbor has invited us for ham, NY strip steaks, macaroni and cheese and lots of veggies (for the bunny of course)!
This is my lucky day - I wasn''t allowed to cook and bring anything - I''m psyched! (I''ll take a little wine though - makes the steak go down so much better!)

Ditto. Also just got back - from Spring Break in Hilton Head. 9.5 hours on the road, but had early Easter brunch yesterday with mother and brother''s family and dinner tonight with daughter and youngest son.Date: 4/16/2006 3:24:27 PM

It was at our house this year,
For brunch, I made a Asparagus, smoked salmon, swiss cheese and potato frittata. It was delicious!
For dinner we had roasted leg of lamb (studded with garlic, rubbed with coarse english mustard and covered with fresh rosemary sprigs from our garden) and served it with a wilted field green salad with my homemade mustard vinaigrette.
For dessert, we ate my son's leftover easter candy (cadbury eggs, mmmm) and then we had Key Lime Milkshakes (Robert is Here recipe, for those of you who have been there!)
