I just wanted to get on here on PS and wish everyone a Happy Easter!!!

Frankie and I are heading to Atlantic City tomorrow for a night away from the kids and we got tickets to go see Wanda Sykes at the Borgata. I am excited, I saw David Spade last year in Vegas so I am really looking forward to it!!

My father in law was sweet and had a box of See's candies delivered to our house; I kept looking at the box and finally had 2 chocolates yesterday.

I am making lunch for my family (my parents, sis & bil and my 2 yr old nephew). It just dawned on me yesterday that he should have an easter egg hunt in my backyard so I am off to look for plastic eggs and goodies to stuff in them.

I should have thought of this earlier. Off to the store.

My mother is in the hospital, but my father will be "staying home" with her so that my husband, daughter, and I can join our extended family in another town in Connecticut. That we can see them (the extended family) and that my parents at whose house we are staying are still alive is a blessing.

My very small is family is getting together after church for lunch.
Yesterday at the elementary school I work at we had an egg hunt and ate those lovely store-bought cupcakes that turn their mouths brighter colors than the Easter eggs.

We''re supposed to be heading to my grandparents'' house tomorrow for church and dinner, but I''ve been sniffly and am terrified that I''ll be passing on the beginnings of that nasty virus, so that might get canceled. For us, Easter begins in a few hours- we''re Episcopalian, so we''ll be going to church this evening for Easter Vigil. I can''t wait to smell all of the spring flowers!

We are at the beach in Isle of Palms, SC, and some of my family will be coming down tomorrow afternoon and they are bringing our traditional Easter dinner! I love being here but I do miss being at our church for Easter.

My husband has all 4 wisdom teeth out two days ago, so while I''m on a week''s leave from work, I''m still carrying on nursing a patient at home

In between keeping up with his pain regimen I''m really enjoying spending a few lazy days with him doing next to nothing!

Plus I got called into work at 1:30am for an emergency caesarian to deliver twins... a boy and a girl... to a couple having been through IVF for the past 4 years, so it was a lovely way to start Easter Sunday in the wee hours, even if I didn''t get to bed until 5am

Tomorrow (Easter Monday) we''ll visit the family and deliver chocky eggs and such.

That''s one of my favourite parts of Easter, other than the Cadbury factor of course

It''s one of the few times that all of my brothers and their partners and my husband and I can all congragate at mum and dad''s for dinner, just like old times
