Happy New Year!

ad a wonderful holiday with their loved ones and a great New Year! I know this is late! I just returned from my holiday trip, which included getting stranded with a lot of other folks on I-24. This was an adventure to say the least! Finally made it to my parents home and we had a great time visiting with everyone and the kids went sledding...on antique sleds I had as a child! This year it took us 2 days and 5 hrs+ to make a normally 5-6hr drive, but everyone wants to be with their folks at the holidays and thats what was important to me! Sneaking in my 2 dogs to a hotel we made it to, well that was fun too! They were good and we were desperate for a room in the blizzard like weather. I hope the New Year turns out to be what everyone wants for themselves and their families. Just wanted to drop in and wish everyone well!

Hi there Patty!

Yep, both dogs behaved well and most ppl were stranded with their loving pets. The manager did not mind but at first I did not know, so I hid them! They did not bark or have any accidents, I had their kennels with me and the only thing was little Misti Rose wanted to move the curtain and look out and ppl saw her and would wave! They had fun, I just didn''t want to freeze on the side of the road, so im glad we made it to the exit and got a room! I can''t believe that it didn''t snow a bit here! Amazing! We had plenty of dried fruits and snacks. The furry children had their treats packed so we were fine! Thanks for asking!
