You are always so kind...thanks for checking in on me, and thanks to MINIMS for letting me know this thread even existed. I can''t seem to keep track of much of anything these days, and yes, I have been laying low from PS for awhile in hopes of getting a few things in order. I feel like so much still isn''t done and I feel myself panicking about it more than I care to admit, which is not a good thing.

Healthwise, I am doing okay...the shingles are starting to fade a bit more from my face and I''m not so uncomfortable in regards to that. I just finished the 10 days of anti-virals and hopefully will start to be back to my old self again soon. I am definitely going to speak w/my dr. about the shingles vaccine and getting a round of anti-virals to take to Maui with me as I can''t afford to go through this again during the wedding!

Aside from all my health issues lately, sadly there are still problems arising right and left in the wedding planning, and I''m at a loss as to how to deal with them all with only 107 days left until the wedding!

Here are a few of them:

The closing of Aloha Air and ATA has affected every single person coming to my wedding in Maui, and for some reason they have all felt the need to complain about it to me. It screws up mine and my FI''s plans, as well. We now have to fly on United, which will now only allow us 1 bag each w/our ticket and a charge of $25 per extra bag, which will make it quite difficult for us to get everything we need for the wedding over there. We are also not getting there until late in the evening, effectively making us lose a whole day there that we had already planned. Nothing I can do about any of this, but it just makes me sad.

None of the men''s pants fit, so I have finally bit the bullet and spent the extra money for special-ordered pants in the big and tall sizes we need. If they don''t fit after 3 different special orders, well, then, I just give up...they can wear a grass skirt for all I care!

For my bridal party, I ordered sterling silver and cz copies of Tiffany''s DBTY necklace and bracelet sets and all of the bracelets came 8" or longer, when my order was for all 7". Come to find out that the supplier made a mistake and they are all 8+" long and can''t be exchanged for a smaller size, so I have dropped them off at my jeweler''s for a quote to make them in the correct sizes...I''m praying it won''t cost a fortune! I also can''t find matching earrings, but this is the least of my worries!

I still can''t make my dress get here any faster or guarantee that it fits, so I am trying to let that one go until June.

FI recently let me know he wanted to invite a bazillion people to the wedding reception (that has not one thing planned for it yet!) and I think I have made him see reason and he is trying to get it down to a more managable number so we can still have it in the backyard that we just finished redoing everything in! (I''m hoping at least this goes off without a hitch!)

Still no word on my dinner reception for after the wedding OR the welcome dinner (would we call this a Groom''s Dinner?) that FI''s parents want to throw in lieu of a rehearsal dinner. Everyone in Maui is on "Island Time" and is horrible about getting back to me! Argh! So frustrating!

My parents and brother have still made no plans to go to Maui...I have no idea what to say to this except maybe it''s a good thing as they won''t have to deal w/all the airline closures and make their plans a second time, right?

Well, I feel like I am being super negative, and that is usually not my personality at all! So, on the upside, my dad just brought over my taxes, bless his heart, and I''m actually getting more money back than I thought, so I am hoping that will help pay for all the extras that weren''t originally budgeted into the wedding plans! Yay for me!

There''s so much more that isn''t done, but I won''t bore you with them all. Thanks so much for thinking of me...I''m having a rough time right now but will get it all figured out somehow. I''ll try to be more active in the threads, but I don''t know how much help I''ll be to anyone else around here when I can''t even seem to help myself!

I was missing you too. Gosh, I heard about ATA as they were a partner w/SWA for Hawaii; that is awful, I am so sorry. Gosh, that isn''t fair of your bridal party. It sounds like you are tackling things little by little and things will work out (I will pray they do). I hope things get easier and your dress gets here soon! I will send good thoughts your way; you are such a sweetie so we miss you when you are not around. Hang in there and here is a huge hug

I am so sorry things have been so stressful! I know shingles are hardcore!!

My goodness Harleigh, it seems like Murphy''s Law is attacking you with a vengeance. I''m so sorry. I was hoping that you''d been away because you were busy rather than because you were still sick, so I''m glad that you''re starting to feel better...but I never even thought about the Aloha/ATA problems and what troubles that would cause. It''s good that you managed to find seats on United, even though it''s not convenient -- did all of your guests manage to get new seats too?

It''s good that your FI is starting to be more resonable about the guest list for the backyard reception, hopefully that will work itself out very soon! I''m sure that the jewelry will be beautiful and that everything will work out fine. And if the pants still don''t fit, maybe you can cut them off at the knee and the guys can wear shorts?

I don''t think that you are being negative, I think that you''re just stressed to the breaking point and need a > Don''t worry about being active on the threads or not, you have a lot more important stuff going on than posting here. I only wanted to make sure that you were (more or less) okay!
