has anyone tried to set Osirisgem''s "liquid flower"?

I am just trying to get an idea. I wanted to bezel or semi-besel it and put two "handles" on the sides so that it could be attached to two leather straps, but the back is not flat and I do not know if this would work. I want to give it as a gift to my son''s teacher - she is young and stylish, and has done a great job with my kid, so I think she may like it.

Since it is not flat, however, I''d like to get other people''s opinion just to know which "pitfalls" to avoid.

It is special but not my cup of tea. Have you purchase it? Maybe you an post a pict of the side profile?

I love the cut-I think it''s really cool and would love to have it done in a pendant. No clue about the bezel/semi bezel part tho! Maybe email Michael E and Sally and see if you can get some ideas on what can be done??

I am trying to photograph it but it is very light. He photographed it against dark color. IRL it is much lighter but the cut is very interesting. Uli told me today that the impression does not depend on whether the stone is bezeled from the sides or the back as well. So I think a solid bezel would be safer. I shall post you on the progress of this project.
