Has anyone upgraded from .80 ctw studs (.40 each) to 1 ctw (.50 each)?

Just wondering if there is a noticeable size difference to you? I had originally wanted 1 ctw and ended up with .80 ctw because of budget but did get ACAs. Wondering if going to 1 ctw at some point would be a worthwhile investment. Thanks!

Posted how the .80 ctw ones look on my ear if it helps.

I would say no. You normally have to get new settings, so I would not upgrade until you can go to .60 ech or higher. I did incremental upgrades and the settings added up over time. So make the upgrade visible and worth spending the money on new settings!

It’s not a huge difference to be honest. I had 0.80 ctw K colored studs from BGD. I bought 1 ctw lab diamonds from Lightbox because they were whiter and would fit my IDJ jackets better. But the size difference wasn’t that major so instead of keeping both pairs I sent my BGD 0.80 ctw pair in to trade in for something else. I would wait and get 1.25 or 1.5 ctw for a real noticeable difference.
