Have you ever heard emerald from mozambique??

Today one of my supplier show me the emerald from mozambique 5 ct. This piece has certificate AIGS.
My supplier say mozambique emerald is very hard to fine in the market and price is expensive than colombian.
Is it true??? I try to find in google but very less information about that.
If I buy, I think I will ask them to make another certificate for double check.

Mozambique has been producing fine emeralds fro around 15 - 20 years now. Color is close to the fine emeralds from Colombia ( from what I have Seen ) but prices were lower than colombian.

Mozambique does produce emeralds and AIGS (assuming you mean
Asian Institute of Gemological Sciences) is a reputable and renowned lab.
