Hi! I am new to this forum, and honestly new to diamonds. I am about to buy an engagement ring but ran into this thing called HCA tool, and after running it, I got a score of 4.2 which is not good..I was wondering if anyone can tell me if I am buying a good diamond regardless? Here are the numbers:

1.2 ct
H, SI2
Triple Ex
GIA certified
6.71x6.77x4.88
Depth 63.4%
Table 57%
Crown angle 35
Pavilion angle 41.4

Thank you!! I can post the GIA number as well if required

Dont consider. It isnt well cut

No.

Pass on this one. You can do better.

Plus it’s Si2, might be best to stick to Si1 and above for an engagement ring.

I’d also go up in clarity at least. You’ll get less carat weight but it won’t be a noticeable difference unless you go a lot smaller.
