Well, I meant to post this story before now, but I just got around to it. My FF and I were on vacation a couple of weeks ago and I was checking my email each night. I had resisted checking PS since he was always right next to me when I was online. Well, finally I caved (this place is so darn addictive) and I checked on the last night. When he saw me on here he said, "Oh no, not THAT site!" and I asked how he knew. And he said, "You told me about it, about that ''ladies in waiting list'' and everything."
Is it bad that I was hoping after I had told him about the site he''d come on here to get himself acquianted?

So I was explaining the site to him, showing him where to go to learn about diamonds etc., then I went to the proposal ideas section, you know, to see his reaction. And I started reading the subject lines and after one headline he said, "Ok, well now you''ve piqued my interest, let me read it..." So I let him read that and read him a couple more to maybe get him thinking...

I am not pushing at all for him to research or look at rings, but every once in a while I like to just see how he reacts to the topic

I would like him to come on here to research diamonds and settings or get some proposal ideas, but if I ever know for sure that he is I will be so self conscious that he''s reading my posts

Hey Jewels, you never know..it might work! I would be in the computer room with my now fiance and i would come accross a nice/funny/unique post and i would tell him about it and he would tell me to read it to him! Any sort of ''prompting'' helps i think! hahha Hope it happens for you sooon!!

The SAME thing happened to me...LAST NIGHT!

We had just had our "1 year" talk...about how we would be engaged by this time next year. So im now feeling more comfortable showing him rings from the smtr page etc. So I found one and he was in the other room, I called him in there and showed him and he said, "Do you go on this site EVERY day??"

HOW DID HE KNOW??? I have only showed him a pic of my dream ring on here before but I always scroll and minimize so that all he can see is the picture and nothing else so that he wont know its an actual message board....but I think he''s figured it out. haha!

Mine knows FULL WELL I''m on here every day! One evening he actually pulled out his laptop, opened up Pricescope and put "Delster" in the search engine just to watch me squirm!!! He keeps asking me if I''m an ''ideal rock'' yet!

Nevermind "weird" forum, this is the ONLY forum I'm on with any regularity. I still came here even when my BF and I were on a break...lol...It's just so nice to have a place with other people that are in a somewhat similar situations as me (aka Lady in Waiting!) and don't think I'm strange for thinking the way I do!
