HELP! Am I too picky or am I reasonable?

My husband bought me a pendant for my b-day. pink tourmaline stone with white gold setting, plus some small diamonds.

Bought from finejewelers.com (he only buys these things online to save time).

First time I received it, I inspected it and found a dent/chip on the stone. So I sent it back for exchange.

The customer service inspected it too when I called to follow up, and promised to replace the stone.

The second time (today) I received it, the stone was good. But I found one of the four prongs was broken, i.e., only half was remaining.

Should I ask for exchange again? I don't want to be unreasonable. But it does not feel good when he spent $300 on a broken piece.

return it! it only has 4 prongs... it can easily fall right out!

Good grief, are these people blind? Return it or would it be possible to get your money back? This isn't rocket science; the stones shouldn't be chipped and the prongs should be intact.

Return it, get his money back. Get something else somewhere else.

definitely return it...did not get your money's worth!

Not at all; with 2 defective products in a row, their quality control people must be sleeping on the job. Get a refund and start over elsewhere. A chipped stone or broken prong is not acceptable.

Thank you, friends.

With your support, I have requested a return number and I will send it for refund.

Thanks again. =)

Good idea.

No excuse for these problems.

Absolutely unacceptable :nono: I hate to see CHIPS on my stone! Good luck in getting the refund:)

Honestly- i would return it and get my money back and then go shopping for something else. I know your hubby meant well but this place is not giving me the warm fuzzies with their product quality.
