I like to plan far ahead while I'm saving up a bling budget, as it's so nice to have something to dream about and work towards. I realized that I've been missing out on halos and colored stones all my life. Which would you choose for an alternate e-ring?

I’m a sucker for white stones with coloured halos, so I would go with the second!

I'm a sucker for them too! But then I think, I already have a white diamond for an e-ring, so maybe I should go CS for the other center. And then I think, but I do really love how fiery diamonds are compared to CS. And back and forth I go.:lol:

Are you attracted to a particular colored stone? I have a FY diamond with a halo because I think the white diamonds compliment the yellow. It depends on your budget too. If I was buying a high quality white diamond, I’m not sure I would halo it with colored stones. I like that look but it would be more of a fun ring for me.

This will be a fun ring for me too. I would be using either pink sapphires or lab pink diamonds.

I think that is what has held me back with colored stones was whether I would get enough use out of them for the investment. I actually think the white center stone with colored stone halo looks more modern and fresh! And if the center was a white diamond, it can be more affordable.

These are good points--thanks for your input!

Looks like Natalie K also does this version with a pink shank.
