Hello PS friends!

I am looking for a fine quality piece of turquoise. Probably > 10ct abd with little to no matrix, with fine blue color.

Anyone with experience or any hint? Untreated only, so needs to be a reliable dealer given the scarcity of lab certs for this type of material.

Thank you in advance!!

Oooooo fun! So you're probably looking for sleeping beauty turq, if you'd like to avoid matrix. Persian turq is also famously clean, but the quality these days isn't what it once was. The color tends to be more blue-green and a bit washed out. Another variety that can be found with clean, saturated, "high" blues (and is less often treated than SBT) is battle mountain. I'll take a look around! Believe it or not, Etsy is often times a great place to source high-quality turq!!

Hey Vivid, take a look at this shop (and specifically the SBT section)... I've purchased from Danny before. Very reputable. If you do find something you like, just double check with him that it is untreated. He is good about listing whether or not a cab is stabilized in his listings though. Good luck!

As I posted in the other turquoise thread, Litnon has some, maybe they could source some to your specifications? Though another poster mentioned they may be pricey.

One I came across - color is not as great as most would want, but it has a GIA report stating no treatment.

Too big? Not sure if they could send it to a lab to confirm unstabilized status that they claim. They are located in California.
