Not a fan of huge, gaudy or costume jewelry. I’m in between a 1.5ctw or 2ctw 6-prong diamond studs that will be my “one and only” pair. Not interested in upgrading at this time...I thought a pair of 3ctw would be too much for my lobes. Here’s my current ear setup; I have small elfish ears...
1st pic is my left ear
2nd pic is my right ear

Thanks everyone :) I’m aiming for feminine & classic, not gaudy or costumey but then again I know DSS is real

Why not buy a couple of cheap CZ pairs and try them out first? Stud size is a very personal choice. My lifestyle and earlobes make it such that my 1cttw pair seem enormous, but there are ladies on here who happily rock 3-4cttw!

I think most people can wear one carat per ear, but a lot depends on what you're comfortable with. I agree that ordering a couple of sets of sterling cz pairs would be a good idea, although sometimes they come in full mm sizes. You'd need to see 6mm and 6.5mm to compare .80 and 1 ct stones.

2 carat is a wonderful place to start. Most of us however get DSS and upgrade. I was very happy with my 2 for 5 years then went to 2.40 now headed for 3 lol
