I simply cannot decide. I love the wide band and simple sparkleys in the side...but worried that as it becomes worn the band will look dull and scratched. Sure it looks pretty now when it is new. .

I have large hands and tend to wear heavier jewelry, so I am shying away from a thin band. But don''t want to look industrial or masculine. I just don''t know what to get. I do not like the overly ornate bands that steal away from the center stone. Not a fan of big side stones... I love radiant cut...The traditional solitaire does not look good on me... I am in a pickle

I am thinking maybe a thin sparkley band with the single diamond???

I am at the point where SO F and I have looked 3 times... he is about to go crazy between that and all the email links and pics. Maybe I just have to keep my fingers crossed and let hm go for it and choose for me. I cannot keep sending him stuff.

i did buy him a surprise engagement ring, though , to present when he surprises me...

Ok, here are my pics... opinions, thoughts, advice... please

I cannot figure out how to attach more than one pic. Sorry, I am new.

What exactly are you asking? Just whether you should get a wide plain band or a thin eternity band for your e-ring? That''s really a personal preference issue...

I don''t think the engagement ring in the picture you posted looks at all "masculine," if that''s what''s worrying you. And if you like heavier jewelry, get a heavy engagement ring! You''ll wear it for the rest of your life--get what you like!

I agree that it''s personal preference, and because you already stated that you usually prefer heavier jewelry, I would go with a wider band to complement your ring''s band. A thinner band might be lost or masked by your engagement ring''s band. I don''t know much about the durability of certain bands as far as how quickly it would become dull, but maybe regular polishings would help? What metal are you thinking of?
