Help me finalize my tricolor sapphire project

My sapphire melee arrived! 2mm is smaller than I expected which is silly because I own a ruler. The melee are various shades of green, blue, and yellow.

The plan is for a gradient to show off the tricolor sapphire.

Question? What color metal?
Should I do a double row of melee because of how small?
Should the gradient cover my whole finger (size 4)?
How should the gradient be set? Channel or normal prong?

I lost all of my inspiration pictures when I had to factory reset my phone.

This stone is impossible to photograph. It is lighter with more yellow in person.

Will the melee (I mean melly ) follow the color zoning, or contrast with it, or form a repeating pattern, or just be random...? What do you envision? I am thinking the first or the second but I can not tell how obvious the color zoning is.

The color zoning is not obvious and is different depending on the orientation of the stone. When I get some time, I want to start lining up the little melee and try not to drop them!

What do you think about the metal color? Do you think a single or double row of melee? Thank you!
