My DH and I are celebrating our 35th anniversary this month. I am looking for a 2 to 4 carat, 7 or 7.5 inch diamond bracelet to mark the occasion. I like white gold and rose gold and don't care whether the bracelet is pre-owned. If possible, I would like to spend under $8000. I wold appreciate any suggestions, as I am nowhere near as great a shopper as many of you are.Thanks.

Hi Novicebuyer,

MANY congratulations on your 35th anniversary, that's wonderful!! A diamond bracelet would definitely be the order of the day for a special gift to mark the occasion! We will be delighted to post some suggestions, are you thinking of a diamond tennis bracelet in style, diamond bangle?

Thanks. I was thinking of a diamond tennis bracelet.

What a lovely project! I'd start by looking at Whiteflash. You could get 5 ct of great quality diamonds from them

I bought a diamond tennis bracelet from The Facets Collection like 7-8 years ago. I think they may have been under different ownership. It appears they are still in business, making eternity bands, wedding bands, etc. Not sure if they still make bracelets.

Cflutist has a gorgeous diamond tennis bracelet - maybe she'll chime in with some advice.

I've bought from WF - they have gorgeous diamonds and excellent workmanship.

I'm a big fan of branded jewelry, but that's just me. This bracelet from Roberto Coin is amazing in person. Because of the Cento diamonds and the setting, it looks like MUCH bigger, in terms of total diamond carat weight.

You could always make an offer.

Sorry I'm not more helpful. Can't wait to see what you get though. Congratulations on 35 years! That's definitely something to celebrate!

I have two diamond tennis bracelets.

The smaller one is machine made while the larger one is hand assembled.
I bought the smaller one from a local jeweler pre-Pricescope.

The larger one came from Wink Jones of High Performance Diamonds. I believe that he is a trade member here.
What is neat about his bracelet is that I wanted the look of a 3-prong (to see the girdle outlines of each stone) but
the one from him offers the safety of 4 prongs with the look of 3 prongs. I've got some close-up pictures from him but
I think that I am not allowed to post pictures with his logo/copyright on them here.

I am sure that he can get any size/quality of diamonds that you want, plus all of the different mountings e.g. bezel,
4 prong, bars, "S"s, etc. Go get at least 3 estimates and go with the person you feel the best with.

btw, I did contact Whiteflash at the time (2004) and spoke with Brian Gavin, but he never got back to me with an estimate,
so I went with Wink sight unseen and am happy that I did.

HI:

Congrats!

Like StarryE, I love branded jewellery.

Here is a link to a great piece. I've dealt with this vendor (Tiffany gold bangle) and they were fabu. Perhaps they may be able to assist on the pricing.

FWIW, I've tried this bracelet on IRL--and oh my!

Welcome back Miss SE! :wavey: Look forward to your projects!

I also have a 6 TCW bracelet from WF, a 3 prong, with their branded diamond line, ACAs or A Cut Above, it is gorgeous.

The Tiffany that Sharon posted it beautiful as well. You have some great choices!

They are .33s GH/VS2-SI1. Not sold as H&A but saw that many of the stones exhibited "arrows".
11.5 CTW

The other bracelet is 6.5 CTW FG/VS (.16s-.17s).

I just stumbled upon this!

Here is a 4.58 ct G/H VS Diamond & Platinum tennis bracelet on the Good Old Gold Steals & Deals page for $9K. I believe this may be a consignment piece, so perhaps there is some wiggle room? I don't know. Looks like a nice bracelet!

Hi novicebuyer :wavey:

The GOG pre-owned bracelet posted above is roughly $700 more than your budget - but it's a GREAT deal. It's made with 10pt stones, which is substantial in a bracelet. Lots of bling and lots of presence!

I'd definitely give that one some consideration.

And happy 35th wedding anniversary - a great achievement! :)

Congrats on your anniversary!!!

I have a 2cttw bezel bracelet from Blue Nile that I got years ago that I absolutely adore. They don't have mine on their site anymore but there is this one that's similar http://www.bluenile.com/semi-bezel-set-diamond-bracelet-18k-white-gold_45071 I love that it's a little different than the normal tennis bracelet and that it can be dressed up or dressed down.

Good luck on your quest. I can't wait to see what you get.

Bought a beautiful 4ct tennis bracelet from Lesley at BGD for the wife, loves it.
