As suggested by some very kind people in this forum, I’m starting a new thread.

I’m searching for a sapphire ring and will happily research any leads you may come up with. Thank you in advance for your replies!

- heated is ok
- vintage/estate is ok
- size 5 1/4
- prefer 4-5 carat cushion cut sapphire
- must have reputable lab report
- $10-15K budget

My style - one that shows off the beauty of the sapphire enhanced by diamonds. I don’t want the diamonds to be over or understated but a nice balance. I’ll attach a photo of my latest faves. The last 2 are the same ring. It’s a color change sapphire that was more violetish blue. This one had a bad diamond so I ended up not buying it. I don’t mind the color change violet blue color either.

Thanks again and I sure appreciate the expertise in these forums!

Hi there! This is so fun posting! (I’m a newbie and just discovered this forum). I like the last ring you choose. If it was only a bad diamond, you could easily get it swapped out for a better diamond. The sapphire is pretty, the setting it classic and it looks great on your finger.

Such a nice blingy classic ring which I love. And the size and style of the ring looks great on you!

My jeweler sent it back because he didn't approve of one of the trapezoid diamonds. He said the owner may agree to swap it out if he has a like size/color trap in stock, but that he may not agree to do that as someone else may buy it as is. The owner's company was closed for 3 weeks and are finally back open so he's checking again to see. Thanks for your reply!
