help me find an aquamarine Tiffany look-a- like

Hi! I usually post in the LIW section & SMTR, but since this is an aquamarine question, i was hoping that you ladies and gents can help me. I''ve fallen in love with the Tiffany & co round stacking ring. I would post a picture but now the Tiffany & co website won''t let me copy their pictures

(search for aqua round stacking ring). It''s $300 which seems expensive for a sterling silver aquamarine ring. (I know you''re paying for the Tiffany name) ... Anyone have any suggestions?

It looks like a pretty simple setting. I bet if you found a stone somewhere with the correct dimensions you''d have no problem finding someone to make a custom setting for you.

I may be alone here, but I''d stick with the SS. I like the look of chunky rings in silver versus gold.

I agree with Hudson. This is a simple bezel setting that you can buy in WG almost anywhere and have the stone set in it. Just search through the sites selling loose aquamarines for the color & size that you like.

I would suggest contacting Daniel Stair at customgemstones.com to see if he can cut you an aquamarine. His stones are lovely.

Ok so i just decided to buy the ring from Tiffany''s because I wasn''t having much luck finding something similar. It should be here in a week so I''ll post pictures when it comes
