help me find dress shops in North Shore, MA, ladies......

My best friend and I are going prom-dress shopping with her 17-yo daughter this weekend. We have some stores mapped out for southern NH because we live right on the border, but I was hoping for suggestions of places to go in North Shore, MA, too.....think Saugus, Danvers, Burlington, Woburn.....really anywhere north of Melrose/Chelsea up to NH borders.

Any suggestions? We were thinking that BM dresses would be an option, too, so I''m hoping for some great suggestions. Thanks in advance!

Al, there is a really charming bridal shop right by the harbor in Portsmouth, NH. My husband thinks it's on State Street by Prescott Park. It's right by this wonderful garden store and across the street from a book store. I know this isn't North Shore MA, but if you're but if you're up there anyway and willing to go across the border this might be a place to check out. And sorry for the vague directions but this is the best I can recall... Fortunately Portsmouth is a small enough place that if you asked someone in the town they would probably be able to direct you to the right location pretty easily.

You could try route 125 just ove the line from Haverhill in Plaistow...I can''t remember the anme of the store...125 Bridal and Tux or something...small store...decent selection of stuff...and if I recall they kept track of who was going to what prom...less chance of duplicates...there were other stores along there as well
