My wedding colors are green, brown and metallic golds. I really want a cute green shoe under my off-white wedding dress.

I''m having so much trouble finding the perfect height and color! I like a bit of vintage style to it.
I find the perfect height and style but no green!
I find the perfect style and its in green but its too high!

I find the perfect style and height and color but its from ebay Australia and don''t know if it''ll fit- the costs of returning and exchanging it would not be worth it...

I''m looking for:

**size 6 or 6.5
** kitten heel, ideally 1" but can go up to 2"
** peep toe
** pump OR strap that goes around the ankle (no heel strap)

**can ship to Canada

Here are some I love but just too high or not in the color I want.

I''ve found a couple of green pairs of shoes but none that match every point that you''re asking for. I really like these but they are too high for what you said at 3.5 inches (but they have everything else you want!):

Have you thought about buying white satin ones or pale coloured leather shoes and having them dyed? It might be easy to get the shoe that you want in white/ivory and dying isn''t *too* expensive.

Oops, forgot to post the 2nd pair of green shoes. I wouldn''t have picked them for wedding shoes but then I looked at all your shoes and decided that it might be worth a try. They are also too high at 3 inches:

Could you get a pair of dyeable shoes and then have them done in the shade you''re looking for?

Alberto Fermani made a pair that was similar to the one you like, but I can''t find them.

How about these:

chinglish, I tried to do a search, but came up with nothing really. I like the Jcrew shoe that Addy posted, and the first and second options that Brazen posted. Brazen, you are the goddess of searches!!!

These are shoes that I went to the end of the earth to find. Anne Klein, but I don't remember the name. They're more grass green in real life, but they have a 3 inch heel (although it's the second comfiest heel I've ever worn!). Try looking up "green" at Piperlime.com (it's a GAP company) but I think your best bet might be to buy some white shoes and get them dyed to whatever color you want.

Good luck!!! Let us know what you find!

ETA: I found these at Stevemadden.com: funkier green shoes but they're at least 2.5 inches.

Wow, chinglish, you aren''t kidding! I''ve looked and looked and can''t find any others even close to what you''ve found!

I REALLY love the green satin ones you posted from Australia...I might just be willing to take a chance on those if I were you!

My only other thought is to buy something along the line of some of the dyeables from Payless Shoe Source or David''s Bridal and have them dyed to match your colors, which would ensure a perfect match and maybe relieve you of a headache of trying to order online, sight unseen.

I''m so excited for you and can''t wait to see what you end up with!

I couldn''t edit my last post...

I just reread your post and ignore my shoes. They won''t go.

Sorry.

wow thanks everyone for taking the time to look for me!

I''ve thought about the dyeables option - but i''m stubborn that there must be the perfect shoe out there for me AND i''m also too lazy to find the right dye etc and actually dying it.
(ironic i know, i could save myself the time and just dye a shoe!)

brazen:
I love the second one you posted - the sage flats with ankle straps - Just worried the color looks a bit too pale .. I know i''m so picky! But its definitely a possibility

crownjewel:
I also like the chinese laundry one you found!

ladyciel:
i actually like the Killah (a little out there ones!) but the linen fabric might be too casual?

I''ll check out what the return/exchange possibilites are with these ones - thanks ladies!

FrekeChild,
I LOVE your shoes - great find!

My fiance is only 5" taller than me, that''s the reason behind the low heel and also comfort level!

addy:
i saw those jcrew ones - they're soooo pretty and definitely have the dressed up + personality look I'm looking for.. just need it to be shorter dang it!

Chinglish,

About the dyeables - there are lots of shops out there that will dye them for you, and the shoes always come with a swatch (or two or three) of the fabric so they can practice and find the right dye. All you have to do is go find a paint swatch or something the color you want them to be. It''s usually under 20 bucks. I completely understand the feeling of wanting the PERFECT shoes, but just realize that if you have to go the dyeable route it really isn''t that big of a deal. Good luck!!
