Hey All,

This may be a stupid question, but can anyone tell me what kind of flower this is??
A see it all the time in pictures but I have no idea how to ask for this.

Thanks in advance.

I have attached a picture to show you.

I think they're Aranthera James story orchids, or aranda orchids. (mini orchids).

I'm not a florist though.

do you have a closer up picture of the kind of flowers you like?

They remind me of the branches of a forsythia bush, but I''m not convinced that''s what''s actually in the photo. The easiest way to ask is probably just to take the photo in with you. Good luck!!

I'm pretty sure they're a type of orchid.

ETA: Dendrobium orchids can have that same look I think.

Thank you for helping me find this one.
Unfortunately I do not have a close up shot of this so thanks you for all the comments
I will research all your suggestions and hopfully find what it is ... if all else fails I will contact a florist. :)

I would say that's forsythia except the greenness on the branch is kind of throwing me and the flowers don't look quiiiite right. Forsythia is a large, woody flowering shrub that blooms first thing in the spring. It's around when the crocuses show up. The cool thing about forsythia is that the flowers show up before the foliage, so you get these lovely branches of just straight beautiful sunny yellow.

Even if it isn't forsythia, for an arrangement of that type with that kind of height and spread, you would need a woodier branch to hold the shape and support itself. Forsythia would do the job admirably and be the right color, but your wedding ought to be in the spring for the best availability. In the Great Lakes region where I am, that means April. My birthday is in April so I love forsythia.
