So here’s the deal. I bought a beautiful ring on eBay. It was listed as a .50 colorless diamond. There were not specs or anything. But was listed as natural diamond. I bought it for $350, it was and auction with no reserve, hence the price and when it got in I wasn’t convinced it was a natural diamond. I took it to Kay in my local mall and their chief gemologist there tested it and it came back as diamond, and their tester has a diamond and moissanite setting so they insisted it was a diamond, they checked it under their huge microscope and it looked perfect. Like it was a perfect diamond. But for some reason I am not convinced. It could be that I am used to having diamonds that are J to M colored so maybe the lack of color is throwing me off? I am not sure. Here’s some pics I just wanted to borrow a few eyes and maybe see if I could get an opinion.

If their tester tests for moissanite, and it tested as diamond, then congrats and enjoy your find!! It looks lovely on you. Can you show us the profile?

Here you go! Yea I think I have gotten pretty lucky if it is as perfect a diamond as the gemologist said. The profile sits pretty high but it gives and incredible view of the stone!

Congrats on a great find! Not sure what the gemologist was referring to by calling it a 'perfect diamond' but if it tests as diamond, at least you know it is real!
