Help New Book On CD/Itunes Issues

Everyone who knows me knows that I love to read, it has been a passion of mine since I was very little. I mean how many 5th graders can read all three series of the Nancy Drew books in a single summer?

However I have less time for reading lately so I have turned to books on CD to get my fix. A buddy of mine very sweetly sent me four books that he thought I would enjoy. But for some reason Itunes does not recognize two of them....help! Does anyone know what is up? Windows media player seems to be able to read them just fine...but I want to listen on my iPod while I exercise.

Hey Matatora I''m not really sure what may be the problem..

But when you say Book CDs are they audio CDs? if they are try this

I found that most of my itune problems were due to not downloading th latest software.
If not, did you try the ipod-itune support? They are really good.. usually get back to you in 12 hrs.

I now know that the problem is due to the format of the CD. All others I had put in worked just fine, so this was quite odd to me. Anywho the CD in question is an MP3 CD, which explains how they got 15hrs of book onto a single disc. Now I am off to harrass Apple about what to do.
