Help please - approximate pricing - Tiffany type bangle

I love this Tiffany Atlas Bangle - but the whopping price of $4,600 for 18k gold made me fall over

Any ideas what a similar design would cost from a regular jeweller in either 18k or 14k gold?

I dont really have any specific specs on the piece but its about 500mm wide - dont know the weight

I have admired this bracelet forever, and yet have never seen this open design on the market elsewhere (the older, closed/solid models, yes...).

Do you have a good bench jeweller close to you, that has done work for you before? I have found that depending on what I want and where I go in town, custom work is NOT necessarily less expensive than the original.....

I would think to have it made by your local jeweler it "might" run about 30% less upon negotation...keep in mind that most jewelers will not infringe on copyrights and you won''t end up with a complete "duplicate" to the Tiffany model...
