Where did you find it / buy it?

I was inherited it from my father. It has been in my family for at least 40 years. I thought it might be glass too.. But it can easily scratch stainless steel and glass. I don't know if this test works or not..

Probably glass or another man made object. At 5 pounds it is big enough that you can have it carved into something special to be a happy reminder of your father.
