Good day!! I just got this ruby from my grandfather and so if you can help me out a little bit whether it's real or synthetic? I looked at it with a magnifying glass at 10x magnification and based on what I read, I noticed that I saw intertwined rutile fibers, although I saw no other inclusion. I find it too clean but a lot of such threads run through the casserole as I move to change the direction of the threads. I asked for a 365nm uv lamp and looked at how bright it was and I noticed on it that it was wonderfully bright in beautiful red, not too strong as the synthetic ruby seen in the pictures.

You can very clearly see curved growth lines, which means that the stone is synthetic (unless what I'm seeing is a fingerprint).

Unfortunately, I see these in few places. I think it's fire clean to be real natural.
When my grandfather sold the gold ring he took it out and the jeweler wanted to buy it but my grandfather did not sell it.

the smaller piece of ruby purchased from a gemstone dealer fluoresces in the same way as the larger stone.

Tbh, I can not tell if what you are showing is surface scratches or internal. You will need to send it to a reputable lab, imo.

Internal scratches of fibers can be seen everywhere under the surface of the stone, the inside intersects at about 60/120 degrees, the inside of such feather-like small cracks can also be seen at 60x magnification.
It was taken out of a more than 100-year-old gold ring.
But my personal opinion is that ruby of such purity, I have not seen anywhere I am too suspicious in the field to see its naturalness.

It weighs around 5 carats which I consider to be quite large and too clean. Under eye-clear 10x magnification, only these fibers can hardly be detected on the entire surface of the stone.
