Help replacing lost emerald?

Hello again,
My husband bought this ring for me on our honeymoon 6 years ago. Shortly after, one of the emeralds (far right) broke and fell out of the setting. At the time my jeweler stated it would be very difficult to find a matching natural stone, and suggested I replace it with a lab created. I went along with his plan, and as you can see it is noticeably lighter, and it always bothers me. I also wish that it was a natural stone like the others. I was wondering if anyone knows of a jeweler who I might be able to send my ring to, and they could match an emerald and replace it in the setting? I don't have a huge budget for this but its a very small stone so I don't anticipate it being too expensive. Any input would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!

Pretty ring with sentimental value! Too bad your jeweler wasn't able to find a match. I suspect any jeweler, without the ring in hand, won't be able to match the stone exactly though. What about replacing all of the emeralds with synthetics and keeping the emeralds for a later project (necklace?) that won't take as much abuse as a ring will?

Hmm well like I said I'd be more than willing to send the ring to them. The other stones have held up fine over the years, I suspect the first one maybe was cracked or weak already. I'm not really interested in lab created, but thanks for the suggestion!

What about switching the alternating design so that there are 4 diamonds and 3 emeralds? It would be much easier to find a matching diamond... would you trust your local jeweler to safely remove and re-set all the stones?

Yes, it looks like a diamond website, but Wink also loves and understands CS. I am confident he can find you a matching emerald.
