Help!!!

I am looking for setting Ideas for 2ct Antique Rose Cut Pear.

I found my dream stone, and now I looking for inspiring ways to set this beautiful stone.

I would like to maintian a beautiful low profile feel with a vintage looking yellow gold, maybe a hammered or textured band.

I prefer to not use any other stones in the setting, but want something that makes the gold and stone melt together in a natural organic manner‍. Is it all possible?

I would love to hear some thoughts? Or see inspirational picture for this beautiful stone!

Thank you!

something like green lake jewelry, they do a lot of floral/earthy looking settings

this is from mociun ... a lot of jewelers should be able to do this kind of style

last idea from sofia kaman...imagine something like this without the outer halo and sidestones though

happy hunting!

I have been reading different thoughts about the bezel, and losing light, but I do kind of like the clean look of it. The stone is so pretty I dont want to rest of the ring to take away from it, but would still like a touch of earthy antique character.

whether a bezel will lose you a lot of light depends on your stone i think...are you planning on having an open back or closed back for it? the end result will depend on the design and i think a good jeweler can help you optimize for your specific stone

you could also do a similar ring with prongs instead of bezel and still have an earthy feel
