Giving my jewelry a good clean and realized that since I've been waiting for my engagement ring, I've been on a spree!
I need help-- will definitely clear the decks soon.

Which of the 3 stone ring, the white gold collet style, or the loose 1 carat stone would you keep? I know they're all different but I rescued the 3 stone ring from an online auction with the intention to sell it and I bought the loose stone with the intention of making a gold solitaire out of it but now I think I prefer the 3 stone ring... thoughts? Maybe I should sell the collet and keep the loose stone for a gold solitaire?

.

The five-stone... Its diamonds have a subtle look not common at all. The other ones are more modern & will be outdone by your engagement ring.

I would probably keep the 3 stone as well or the loose diamond

What a fantastic decision to have to make! I would keep the loose stone. It gives you options with respect to setting.

Definitely keeping the gold 5 stone (2nd one from the top), that was a lucky ebay find whose pictures were awful! I was convinced it wasn't the same ring when it showed up in my mailbox. I'll do a separate post on it sometime.

I think the 3 stone has the prettiest stones, but maybe thats just because they're set? They are definitely the cleanest of the ones on the chopping block.

haha I know its truly a lovely problem to have! I bought the loose stone from LAD and it has the prettiest peachy color. I need to drop it into a gold setting to see how it looks, I think it'd need to be a rose gold setting, yellow gold seems to contrast a bit.

Keep them all and buy more!
I’m not a good person to ask, I’m an enabler!

haha I wish I could! I'm convinced I'll be cured of my bling seeking once I have my engagement ring. Though these were all pretty good deals, they add up!

The 3 stone just has such a unique setting and the diamonds are nice

Haha sometimes when I can’t decide I just list things and let the universe decide based on what sells lol

I love your three-stone ring, the diamonds are beautifully cut and I really like the setting as well. I would sell the collet.

Love the three stone...it's chunkalicious.
I'd sell the Collet. The loose stone keep or sell depending on if you find a perfect setting for it (see how rose gold looks with it) and as your funds allow.

Now that I’ve seen the three stone with the sapphire band, I’m torn....

Well if you do decide to sell the 3 stone let me know!

I think it would be criminal to get rid of the three stone. So pretty and such an unusual setting.

I'm bad at these kinds of decisions so this makes sense to me!

Thank you! Yes, besides the color contrast they are well matched. I'm leaning towards the loose stone and/or collet.

Thank you! I think seeing the loose stone in yellow gold which is usually my preference will be key.

The 3 stone has a lower colored diamond in the middle position. Gives it an interesting look!

The stones in the three stone are a nice cut and color. I would keep it. Do you have more photos of the loose stone? It looks hazy in the shot with the Collet.

The three stone ring is beautiful. I can't see the facet pattern well in the loose stone, but if nice, I'd also keep it even if for a pendant if you don't need it for a ring. The collet set would be my last choice, so that's the one I'd sell!

Thank you! The faceting on both the loose stone and collet stone are nice. Slightly different flavors with the coloring. also the collet stone is around .7ct and the loose stone is a 1ct.

Thanks for the additional photos. The 1 ct doesn’t look hazy in these photos. I personally would keep the 1 ct and sell the Collet. So many options open up for rings this way.

I guess I’d wait till I got my ering. Then I’d play mix and match with my ring to see what I like and want to keep. I’m out of the loop though- when do you expect your ring? They all look like cool diamonds and I could see keeping them all.

I think any day now! I sent the stone in to the designer in early Feb. I think it’s a good idea to wait until I get it. It’s a pretty warm stone so maybe I’ll want to keep the whitest of these others.
