Hi everyone. I recently purchased 2 cuff bracelets from an Etsy seller in custom sizing and they are just so beautiful! Seller offers different widths and materials (silver, 14k, gold filled). I got the gold filled version to feel them out before committing to the more expensive solid gold version. I’m also curious how long gold filled will last before it wears off.

The only problem is they are very flexible and I don’t think they will withstand daily wear. I’m wondering if it’s because they are gold filled and not solid gold? Or they are simply too thin at 1.5mm in width/depth and will bend no matter what material I go for. Ideally I would prefer something that’s 2mm width/depth in 14k solid gold but she only offers the solid gold version in 1.5mm. It’s $300+ for each bracelet. I had to go with a custom size bc of my small wrist. The actually size of the cuff is only 5” with 0.5” gap totaling 5.5”. Is it worth it at that price point ? Please chime in since I truly don’t know...

I really like them and will like to add a few more to the stack. I have a couple choices here.

Stick with the same 1.5mm style in solid gold.

Or have another jeweler make a similar style in 2mm width/depth. I’m thinking it’ll be much stronger to go with a more squared shape.

I’m leaning towards the second option but I’m not sure which vendor/seller would be the best choice for a custom piece.

I recently worked with IDJ on a beautiful eternity ring and they were excellent to work with. I’m not sure they wound take on something like this. I’ve also read glowing reviews about David Klass but I have no clue how to contact him. His website is not active?

Any recommendations are welcome.

Forgot to add the inspiration pic of what I’m hoping for. Minus the diamonds on the ends.

Just had a diamond bangle made by DKJ. They did a wonderful job. I reached him for several custom pieces through email. Email address is on his website and Instagram. Best of luck.
