Help with halo size and aquamarine!

Hi all! I was wondering if anyone could offer some help with the size of the diamonds around the a
Halo for a 9.5 mm x 7.5mm ( 3 cts) emerald cut aquamarine. The jeweler showed me pictures with 1.5 pointers for the halo, however I am having such trouble visualizing this on an actual size ring (pics are so different with a computerized model! Does anyone have any advice on this?? Or pictures of their own for me to get an idea of the size of pointers to use?? Thanks so much in advance! Everyone here is always so helpful

Do you have a picture of your stone on the back of your hand?

If so, plus show the CAD, and I can mock up something that might help you visualize it!

I’m sorry I do not. I saw the images when at the jeweler but I am a size 6 ring size and it is approximately a 2mm band , if that helps? The stone is also at

That’s a huge stone so I wouldn’t go any bigger than that with the diamond halo on a size 6 finger.

So this is quick and dirty and I’m assuming a ton here.

Diamdb.com you can estimate the look knowing your finger size, the band width, and the stone size.
Brilliance.com tells me 1.5pointers are 1.5mm

So- with all of that assuming ( with what that makes you and me )
This is an approximation of what I *think* might help you visualize what you are asking for.
The setting’s metal will change the look. The angle, if any, the halo stones are set at will also change the all over face up look /footprint.
