Help with stackable rings to represent my daughters!

So I was thinking of getting a couple stackable rings using my daughters' birthstones. One is Emerald and one is Garnet. I'm not loving those two colors together, but what can ya do?! I was looking at various options from IDJ. Anywhere else I should look? I'm thinking both colors would look best in white gold?

Or instead of getting two rings (one emerald, one garnet), should I just get a pink sapphire one to represent both girls? Any ideas are appreciated!

Personally, I LOVE green stones in rose gold, and I am not even a RG person.

Also, garnets come in all sorts of colors! You might want to ask admin to move this thread to the colored stone forum, where you will get a lot more ideas and suggestions. :wavey:

Thank you! I didn’t even think about the colored stone forum. Duh! How do i request a move?

Examples of different shades of Garnet, as can be seen on Jeff White's website.

Make the girl's ring your own. My son's birthstone are all soft stones. I had a green diamond added to my wedding band to represent his and my husbands lovely green eyes. You can take color inspiration from the birth stones and look at diamond or sapphires. Or, what makes each girl unique? Is there a color that stands out for you? This is your ring for your girls.

How about a color changing garnet that transitions perhaps between your daughters’ ‘traditional’ birthstone colors? It’d be a hunt, and may take a little while, but could be a fun project with the help of the CS gurus.

I love garnets and purple ones too. But, they really only have a chance of surviving ass a daily ring in a channel setting. My mom has a band with 12 bezel set garnets and they all were replaced within 10 years.

Oh no!

Love the color changing idea! But I’m thinking thin pave bands with diamonds so I don’t know if they would make those in little stones?
