I do not have a retailer in your town, but if you go to most any SAKS Fifth Ave, Neiman Marcus or Bailey Banks & Biddle retailer in their Precious Jewelry Department - they should be able to help you.

"The ring set you are asking about is a Full Round Eternity Band and Matching Engagement ring. It is set in a Petite Prong Setting."

Good Luck and Thank You,
Memoire

Can anyone help me find this ring in the Los Angeles area. The first time I saw it I knew it was the perfect ring. My girl friend was telling about this ring she saw in a magzine. It was a solitaire Tacori ring which I looked up and thought was nice. But the ring I saw was much nicer than the Tacori. It was a solitaire ring with diamonds all the way around, set in a pettie setting. You can see it on preciousplatinum.com. I think it looks alot cleaner than the Tacori ring, please tell me what you think! I''ve been to SAKS Fifth Ave, Neiman Marcus and Bailey Banks & Biddle retailer in their Precious Jewelry Departments and I cant find it anywhere. Please Help!

is this the memoire ring you're talking about? it belongs to another pscope member, lsmathis1. search under her name and you'll see the posts. she may mention where she found it.

can you tell us what the tacori your GF liked looks like? i love this memoire ring too, but if she has her heart set on the tacori, and it doesn't look at all like this one, you may want to stick with what she asked for . . .

Jb3,

I have to agree with Reena - if your girlfriend likes the Tacori, that's a safer bet. Personally, I prefer the Tacori setting she picked too, mostly because I don't like the head/prongs on the Memoire setting as much (I am not a fan of heads where all prongs come out of the same point in the middle). But also, if she is drawn to the intricate filigree and delicate pave of the Tacori, she may not like the bolder look of the Memoire.

Thats a good point. But can you let me know where I can find the memorie Ring

I, too, had admired that Memoire set from the Precious Platinum ad. But, I must agree with the other poster that I don't care for the prongs for the center diamond. To me, that is a "cheap" look for what I am certain is a very expensive set. If you like the idea of the "eternity band" for the diamond setting as well as a matching one for the wedding band, I know that Diamond Brokers of Florida did one that had the most gorgeous six-prong basket to hold the diamond that I've ever seen -- even prettier than the authentic Tiffany and Co 6-prong basket. It had built-in hearts to it, etc. It was really the most fabulous thing I've ever seen. You should contact them. They have a website using their name with a dot com. But, as others said, if she loves Tacori, it is a pretty blatant request!!! Perhaps you show her your suggestion and see her reaction, but I think that for the money you will be spending either way, better to play it safe and get her the mounting she has verbally expressed wanting.

Do you happen to have a pic of that ring or a link?
Thanks!

No, unfortunately, I do not, and I apologize but I cannot go through the threads at DT right now as I'm doing homework with my kids. That is where I saw it posted, although I also may have seen it posted here as well. But, if you go to DBOF website and contact them, and describe it, they'll know what I am talking about. It held a stone that was over 3 carats. It was magnificent!

Sound gorgeous! Thanks for the info

jb3,

Did you ever find what you were looking for? I haven''t logged on in months, so I''m trying to catch up on a few things...but figure late is better than never. My fiance purchased it at Robbin''s Diamonds in Philadelphia. I could offer more info if needed.

I also read where someone mentioned the look of my prongs. I understand where he/she was coming from, but I prefer an understated look vs. the extra stuff on the side. I like simple - it''s timeless. To each his own though :)

Hope you found the perfect ring!

~Lisa

Is this the ring?
