I’m really not a massive diamond guy, but I feel like if I am going to get one I should really go for perfection. One perfect example.

I really like Emerald cut in general, but is that a good cut for showing off a diamond? I really want a thick and chunky ring similar to my Spessartine garnet.

I am probably about to be told I am crazy... But I’d like a D colored, FL stone with as near of a perfect cut as possible. Budget 10,000 max.

What do we think of the below?

How exciting!
I love an emerald cut

I dont feel like the first stone you posted is doing much down in the center. Just not much going on as far as the steps flashing.

The second one you posted seems to be more active in the center. As you rotate the stone you can see the steps going on/off
(black to light). This is what I mean by flashing.

Nice! Just watch a ton of videos and watch for the light play with the steps.

I’d suggest calling Diamonds by Lauren or Brian Gavin Diamonds and maybe get some help with someone who can pull some and then let you choose from a selection.
