Here I come to join the ladies in waiting!

I'm not sure if ladies in waiting is just for ladies waiting to get engaged.... or just for ladies hoping for something lovely to happen to them.

Some of you know that my husband and I split up earlier this year.

I wanted the divorce over and done with as I couldn't see any way forward for us. Its been quite a few months since he left. He comes to see the children reguarly. The split really hit him hard. I was really surprised. I expected him to embrace his freedom and run for the hills. He has shown what seems to be genuine remorse.

Anyway, I have been on a couple of dates with him. I am not expecting miracles but it would be lovely if one happened. I think everyone I talked to knew how much I didn't want my marriage to be over.

I really don't want anyone to judge me for spending time with him. Time will tell if his remorse is genuine or if he slips back into his old ways. I am not a pushover and I will not let him mess me about.

He has a lot of work to do and I will let him try.

I think G genuinely does regret what happened. We all make mistakes, just some of us make bigger ones than others

Who knows where we are headed. All I know is I am a stronger and more improved version of the old Maisie! He has to work to show me he has changed and it will take a while to do that. I won't be rushing into anything.
