Thanks everyone!!! I am very excited about it too. I have to take my daughter to the airport and then will meet with the bench jeweler to go over my design ideas and the it will be about 3 weeks to make. He will give me cad images which I will post and hopefully you all will chime in and add your ideas. It will be fun!!! TTFN.

Thanks guys. It faces up bigger than it is, if that makes any sense due to it''s nice spread. This is an addition not an upgrade. It will be a fun RHR. I am itching to get it to Bernie Robbins they are doing the setting for me. It will be in platinum. The only thing I am wavering on is the halo. Diamonds or something pink. Can''t decide. I can''t swing pink diamonds, good lord that is way out of the budget but maybe pink sapphires. I will probably chicken out and just do diamonds. The mele will be very fine e-f stones.

I actually like that idea a lot since it is going to be a RHR. I prefer a little color on my right hand and all white diamonds for the left. I don''t really know why, it''s just a personal preference. I''ve seen many yellow (and pink) diamonds for e-rings, but for me I''d prefer that for my RHR. Either way, it is going to be smashing!!!!

Pink sapphs might be nice, but they would most likely lack that diamond sparkle... don''t shoot me for speaking the unspeakable...but I wonder if treated diamond mele is available that looks muted and natural....

UGHHHH!!!! I can''t meet with the bench jeweler today there is a big meeting with all the managers of the whole company today. Widget don''t be silly, I want peoples input!!!! I certainly don''t want to make a mistake with this ring. You''re right about the sparkle factor of pink sapphires, didn''t think of that. I will ask about the cost of pink diamond mele. If the cost isn''t way too outragous I''m gonna go for it. So we''ll see. I am meeting with him tomorrow. At least I get one more day playing with it. It''s funny my daughter was home for a few days and she got to see it and really loves it. She is a tough critic.

I don''t think that stone needs anything around it. (You can''t improve on perfection!) I''d have it set as a solitaire in platinum. At most, I would only add trapezoid side stones like the ring we admired at Kellmer''s.

It is small and needs a little help. Since my ering has side stones I want this to be different. How big was the one at Kellmers, I forget 3 carats???? That was a beautiful ring. You should get it!!!

With pink stones (diamonds or sapphires), I would go with rose gold for sure. I don''t think of it as too trendy. Nineteen years ago when I got married, we chose 2-tone wedding bands. Everyone thought they were trendy, and now I see 2-tone and 3-tone jewelry everywhere! If you can swing the diamond melee, I would go that route. I can''t imagine that would bump the cost up that much. We talking about 1 point or less stones. The labor cost is the same. Oh, come on Kaleigh. Cant'' you part with a leg?
