I think it is lovely but I am with MMM on this one. I would leave the color out and just let your stone be the star of the show. To me the pink halo somwhat detracts from the center stone. JMO

Gorgeous, gorgeous asscher! Positively stunning! Next to RBs, asschers are my favorite. And a RHR? WOW! What a beauty. And storm hit the nail on the head... it looks 10 miles "deep"... like looking into the sea of mirrors! Mmmmm, beautiful!

And personally, I LOVE the image above with the pink melee accent stones. My second choice would be sapphires. With that rock as the star of the show, though -- you CANNOT GO WRONG!

They have one dreamy one that has a cushion surrounded by a halo and it has sidestones. One is a blue diamond and the other is pink. Very different.

That is my personal favorite. I know the stone is icy white, but it will still be just as white surrounded by a pink melee halo!

OK, so I think the pink would be GREAT, this a more fun RHR and its nice to have something a little different. Maybe if it was an e-ring I''d say skip the pink, but go for it!

I would say no on the pink halo if it were an e-ring, but since it is a RHR, then I would say yes to the pink halo. (make sense?

)

However, I would have a less intrusive halo than the pic that Belle posted. Maybe something more like FireGoddess''s halo. Her''s is more dainty and shows off the stone more. You don''t want to overpower that baby!

Beautiful stone by the way! I tried on an asher at my local jeweler just for fun and thought it was gorgeous, and I''m usually not one for step cuts.

Thanks Heather, Libster, blue and FireGoddess!!!!!! I will have to see how it goes tomorrow. Part of me is thinking that pink would be fun for the halo and part of me is thinking that in the long run it may not be for me. UGHHHHHH. Hopefully the bench jeweler will help me decide.
