Oh wow, I was away for a few days so I''m just catching up here. First of all, congratulations on picking a gorgeous stone! I absolutely adore asschers and it looks like you got a beauty! Second, I agree that you should go with your gut. I''m an advocate of the "all white" look too and that Daniel K setting is so yummy. Plus, with the modifications you will be making it''s going to be quite a stunner. I''m so happy for you and can''t wait to see the progress and the final product--I''m sure the anticipation is killing you! How many more sleeps till there is something to see?!?!

Yes flower I did. I know I made the right decision because it was that setting that I always came back to. didiamonds pic is out of this world. I love that ring, but bet I couldn''t afford to do something like it. I mean this is a RHR not an ering or anything. It will take 3 weeks to make. A very loooooong 3 weeks.

Nan/Sevens is coming today for a visit. I am taking her to the jeweler so she can see the asscher and we will ask about the cads and the work on the ring etc... I haven''t heard boo from them so it''s time to shake things up a bit. I will let you guys know what they say. Maybe we can post pics of a cad today, I''ll keep my fingers crossed. I am so excited!!!!!

OMG I am sooooo sorry guys. We had a blast at the jewelry store. The bench guy showed Nan my asscher and she loved it. She said it definitely has that mile deep look to it. Sadly work hasn''t begun yet on the setting. He is starting on it by Friday and i''ll have cad images by then.

I wanted to strangle him Storm. He had my beautiful stone in a plastic bag in some big carry all bag and was smooshed in with other packages.
