I would say no on the pink halo if it were an e-ring, but since it is a RHR, then I would say yes to the pink halo. (make sense?

However, I would have a less intrusive halo than the pic that Belle posted. Maybe something more like FireGoddess''s halo. Her''s is more dainty and shows off the stone more. You don''t want to overpower that baby!

Beautiful stone by the way! I tried on an asher at my local jeweler just for fun and thought it was gorgeous, and I''m usually not one for step cuts.

I agree with this 100%! But any of the beautiful settings posting would look lovely with your beauty. What a fun RHR! Congrats!

Haha coconut!!! Ok I''m back now. I decided to go with my first idea and that was what I always came back to. It will be a Daniel K inspired ring but am having diamonds going up the sides if the prongs and am adding diamonds to the gallery of the ring. I asked him if he had any other ideas and he really likes my idea. I asked him about pink diamonds and he said they would be expensive but couldn''t give me an exact quote. The cad person is out until next week, so no images till then. He is working on giving me a quote but I have an idea that it will be about $2500. So I am very happy with the design. I know that halos aren''t for everyone but I just love them. All the people at the store loved the stone and were very impressed with the appraisal I got from GOG, Johnathon is the best. Ok that''s it for now.

Yay! It''s going to be a stunning ring, kaleigh! It''s wonderful to see so many fabulous options here on PS, but sometimes you just have to go w/ your gut. I think your original idea is great--I can''t wait to see the CADs....and the final product! This will be such a nice contrast to your e-ring. You''re such a sweetheart...you definitely deserve a halo!

I pray the cad guy gets back soon so I can share the images with you guys. This is all being done by hand and is a very labor intensive ring to make. But Joe will do a great job.

Thanks Sundial, it is a beautiful stone. The jeweler was very impressed with it. I can''t say enough about GOG. And the documentation that I got with this stone was extensive. Very professional.

Was browsing the threads and what EYE CANDY has been posted here. blueroses ... great job with the collages and great pix and input by everyone.

I know folks are generally hearing the reviews given by consumers but let me turn the tables a bit here if I may.

This has been our first time working with Kaleigh and if I had to give a consumer rating she is A+++! I know you all already know this about her but dealing and talking with her first hand was an excellent experience on this end and Kaleigh has got to know quite of few of the GOG staff during this transaction.

Kaleigh, the options posted insofar as settings go have all been beautiful and of course this will be a personal decision by you whichever you choose. The DanK one DOES look incredible and if you''re going all white diamonds, the end result will be breathtaking. I can''t wait to see the finished ring. As a courtesy I offer our photographic expertise if you care to take me up on that I''ll be happy to oblige and also include it in your appriasal along with all the other data on your new setting. I am glad your local jeweler also concurs regarding the quality of the stone you got plus the accompanying paperwork. Of course we always encourage a 2nd opinion but the paperwork you got from us will, in the long run, protect you should God forbid, anything unfortunate happen down the road. They will have to match *all the criteria* we included in your appraisal.

Your ring is going to be BEAUTIFUL! I can''t wait to see the CAD drawings and the finished product! It seems as if you are in extremely good hands!

I will defintely take you up on your offer to photograph my ring as long as I get to wear it for a week before I send it off to you. Everyone here knows that I can''t take or post pics worth a darn so I have to rely on Sevens and belle. I will learn this year I promise, stop laughing you guys!!!! But this stone is just awesome and thanks for making it so easy to buy.

It''s so funny widget, in all the rings that I''ve been saving since I came here that ring was one of the first one''s that I saved! I still love it but I also love the ring kaleigh has chosen just as much. They are two different looks but each just as beautiful as the other. Trust me, I have saved most of those pictures in the collages too! I''m just too dang diamond happy!
