Hey Ladies!

I have finally graduated from LIW status to DIW status, and I''ll be joining this wonderful community now!

FI and I got engaged a little over a week ago, and I must admit I''m still on cloud 9!

The wedding is set for the week of December 12/4/2010...and I have some major planning to do since we are hostigng the weddign in St Maarten.

Any other ladies in the midst of plannignga destination wedding?

My first task is the save the date/invites so I can get an accurate headcount, I''m woking on this now.....then I need to find a few villas to rent, to hold up to 14 couples. Yikes. I think I''ll be looking for a wedding ccordinator on the island, too.

First of all congrats!!!! I am doing a destination wedding as well. We are getting married in Jamaica on 2-8-10. We had originially booked everything directly through the resort but another bride told me about her travel agent and I decided to go with them. They are VIP Vacations and my agent''s name is Jennifer. She has taken care of basically everything for me and even sent me a bunch of save the dates she created (they are super cute) so that I could send them out. Also, the resort we are getting married at has wedding coordinators that they provide. Let me know if you have any questions. Oh and have a bunch of fun planning. It goes by super fast, trust me!!!

Which resort in Jamaica are you getting married at? My cousin got married at Sandals Negril about 5-6 years ago. It was very special, and really romantic!

Your wedding is right around the corner - you must be so excited! Feb is the best time to got to Jamaica too.
