High quality sapphires and emerald jewels

Hi everyone!

I'm new to the site and looking to buy a few nice gemstone jewels online...but i cant figure out who has good quality and who doesn't. I know a little bit about gemstones - my mother taught me well - but I can't figure out which companies online I should shop at... Here are the ones I like:

- I found some nice basic pieces at bluenile.com, but i thought they were kinda boring. But the quality looked good - am i right?
- I saw one called thenaturalsapphirecompany.com which had a big selection of loose sapphires - but the prices ranged so much!
- I saw some great designs at angara.com, but i've never heard of them - any advice?
- I also saw some great designs at jtv, but there wasn't any info on quality! argh!
- I saw some nice styles on jewels4me, but again never heard of them and they didnt have a phone number i dont think...

Anyone have any advice? sorry if the info already exists somewhere - just want to get some info and make my purchases soon! It's almost my anniversary...

Slightly off topic, so I apologize, but before buying any sapphire or emerald, I highly suggest you get a mini-education on them. These stone are typically subject to a myriad of unscrupulous treatmens that you need to be aware of before making an educated purchase.
