Holy Saints Garter, Batman!

Okay.. I'm a supernerd.

Just wanted to share a pic of the amazing "Louisiana-inspired" garter my sweet mom made for me (can you tell which team DF and I pull for?)

But really, we also love the French heritage in south LA, and all of the culture behind it.

This is actually my throw garter. My keepsake garter will be a little more girly. Still fleur de lis, but with ivory and lace and lighter colors to match the wedding colors better. I'll post a pic of that one when it's finished. I figured the guys would appreciate this one, though. EVERYONE here in LA is a Saints fan, and we're all gearing up for the big game tonight. (No offense, to fellow Vik, Colt, Jet fans on here.. I've still got love for everyone).

I had a set of Houston Texans garders (one keep and one toss) made by a girl on Etsy, as a surprise for my DH. He absolutely loved them, and I''m sure your FI will too!

i had a cleveland browns garter (spare me on the jokes...). my husband and all of his friends are major bengals fans, so i thought as a cleveland fan, it might be fun to throw them off a bit with the browns garter. got us lots of laughs

Yep, we're super excited. I was always a Saints fan, but really got into when I met DF. He's a Saints nut. I wish I could say we're going to go to some fun football party tonight, but we'll save that for the Superbowl (hopefully). I've been away from DF for the weekend doing wedding stuff, so we'll probably just hang out at our place together with some chips and salsa. I'm sure lots of yelling and jumping around will ensue.
