Any ideas for a relatively inexpensive (I mean CHEAPER) idea of where to go and get hitched? No on Dominican/Mexico seeing as I have already been there and DF wants to go somewhere new. No frills wedding on the beach kind of idea....

Ha, just kidding, I would not recommend that town!! You want a destination wedding? Maybe Belize? Cancun? Or do you not want Mexico and surrounding area? Hawaii sounds like it would be a gorgeous setting! I always wanted to get married in Europe, but that can be VERY expensive with the travel and such, so I don''t know if that will work. Where DONT you want to go?

I would recommend a weddingmoon at Jamaica...it''ll cost about $3000 for the two of you for 6 nights and on the all-inclusive resorts, the wedding is usually included!!! Negril is a beautiful location on the island...very plush, clear blue waters and a laid back atmosphere...can''t get better than that!!!

What about on a cruise ship? Multiple destinations to choose from to get married at. There are always great deals on the prices of cruises too.

What about Puerto Rico? There are 2 islands right off of PR--Vieques and Culebra. Both are gorgeous, not very crowded and not that pricey.

What about Banff? Close enough to you that you don''t even have to stay overnight at those expensive hotels. Since you live in Alberta, you can get your license before you go.

We are actaully debating the Emerald Lake (Field, BC) idea. Out of all the tropical places and travel I have seen....no amount of ocean compares to the rockies. Not even close.
