Hot and miserable!!!!!!

My A/C is not working!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got back from my BF's house. After all the stress we ended up having an awesome weekend just the two of us!!. I stayed there until tonight and came back with the biggest smile on my face!!!!

UNTIL I walked into my door!!!!...My house is hotter than hell! seriously...it is over 80F degrees in here!!!!!

So now I'm a a bad mood...and for some reason feel like yelling at someone! had to contain myself when I talked to my BF because this is obviously not his fault....but nothing like a hot and steamy house to make you mad at anything that moves!!!

Arrrgghh....ok....sorry...but had to vent!!!!!!!!!!!

I am hot too and my AC is on! My BF is cold I changed into a T shirt and boy shorts, still hot, actually took my temperature, sweating right now, and I am never hot. Sorry about your AC, what a pain in the butt!

I just can''t stand being hot!!!!! My BF and I are A/C freaks and like to sleep with the A/C full blast!....

Hello?? I live in Florida!!! A/Cs should NEVER stop working here!!!!

Now let''s hope someone can get here tomorrow to fix it...but it will be a long night!!!!!!!!

How miserable.

I got back from Christmas break my sophomore year to discover that the heat was broken in such a way that it was stuck on full blast. Making matters worse, Buildings and Grounds was still closed for the break and we had itty bitty windows that did nothing for circulation. So, the girls I lived with and I did the only logical thing. We put on bikinis, made daquiris, and watched Pirates of the Caribbean. Just a thought.

I turned it off and back on (for like the 10th time!).....but this time it made a strange sound and it feels cooler in here now!!! I''m not sure....maybe is the vodka talking?? No, wait....I think I do feel some cool air!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok....maybe I''m crazy...I will give it a couple of minutes!!!!!!

hahaha Blenheim...well, I have the drinks!!!! no girls here...but I can try putting on a bikini on my dog! (he might not like that...he''s such a boy!!)

I really think it might have gotten fixed...It does feel coller in here!!!

I''m not claiming victory yet though,....it might still turn back off...so I still need to find someone to come tomorrow!

My A/C is not working again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it''s 82F in here...I feel bad for my doggie he''s been stuck here all day!

The A/C guy is not coming until tomorrow. This happenned last night and after numerous on/off tries it started working again.

The guy told me it''s an old unit (10 years) so I might have to replace it instead of keeping trying to fix it and spend money on it

...it will be expensive to replace (around $1500)

I remember a year or so back when my A/C stopped working for pretty much the whole summer!! So I totally feel your pain. I think mine was busted for like 3 months. The landlord would always take forever to send someone out to fix it and everytime they fixed it, it would break the next day. They eventually replaced the outside unit and the thermostat (which still doesn't work properly).


Hope you get that fixed soon, I also live in Florida and it's DARN HOT RIGHT NOW!!

Oh no! Not again! I''m sorry. Today was muggy and sticky and humid. Ick! I hope the guy who comes tomorrow does a good job and fixes it without it costing bank.

Maybe you can get the puppy one of those Frosty Paws Doggie Ice Creams as a treat to help cool off. FlipFlop just loves those!!

Aww this bites! I''m sorry to hear you are miserable! I just can''t fathom turning on an AC until like JUly. MN girl here! And 82 degrees is like heaven around here, not tooo hot just that summer warmth hehehe. Hope it gets fixed soon!

Is it working again now, Mandarine? It''s been pretty mild here and I''ve not had to run the air, but I can imagine that Florida is a *bit* more humid and sticky. I hope it''s working!
