After nearly 6 hours of phonecalls and emails to fedex on Friday I was finally able to pic up my babies!!! I have now had the first hand experience that is customs / fedex that so many of us Aussies have, but i was just happy in the end to get them before the weekend so all is good!
A big shout out to Denise and Lesley at BGD who were very helpful every step of the way and rushed out my order so i could get them on friday for a reunion I had on Saturday. Thank you again ladies.
So i purchased the first stone a few months ago and the specs are:
AGSO 0.615cts I SI1
5.47x5.50 - 3.37
T 55.2% D 61.5%
CA 34.8 PA 40.7
Then I waited it out patiently till denise found a match:
AGS0 0.608cts I SI1
5.42x5.46 - 3.35
T 54.8 D 61.7%
CA 34.3 PA 40.7
Once I gave the ok on the second stone I had to wait a couple of weeks for it to be called in so Brian could give it his stamp of approval and then have it sent to AGS for grading.
Once the stone came back it all happened very quickly and i am the proud new mumma to a pair of 1.223ctw martinis! Yay!!
So first for the vendor shots.. (did the same earring shot twice, sorry!)
