How many should I book?
I''m starting to look into hotels, and am curious how you determined how many to book. We have about 25 OOT guests total, but don''t know about rooms because I know some guests that live close will want to stay as well. I don''t want to book too few rooms, so what is a good number of rooms to book?

Are you planning on paying for your guests hotel stay? If not, simply block enough rooms for 40-50% of your guests (assuming most are couples). Whatever doesn''t get used by the deadline to rsvp with the hotel will simply be released. No muss no fuss.

Oh no, we aren''t paying for rooms. It''s completely unfeasible. Thanks for the tip on percentage of people to book for.

The hotel I talked to will start you out with a block of 10 rooms, and add more as you get more people to book. Not sure if that''s common or not, but we''re in a smallish city, not a big destination, and during the spring so I can''t imagine the hotel will get too full.

Thanks steph. That idea makes a lot of sense.
