After much futzing about we have determined that there will be a
Houston Meet
Saturday July the 29th at 4 pm in front of Tiffany''s.

HOUmedgal can rondezvous with us at 7 for dinner at La Madeliene''s by the ice rink.

Who wants to come?

I''d love to, but my best friend just got engaged so we will be studying the bridal magazines, and I''m co-hosting a baby shower that afternoon too. Try on some bling for me! I''ll be at the next one.

Depends on how tired I am after working all day...I just got home from a 14 hour day of being on my feet in the OR all day, and I''m BEAT. So we''ll see!! If I don''t make it, ya''ll will just have to try on enough bling for Appletini AND me combined!

I actually ran into GingerBCookie at the hospital today! She''s a new intern and, not surprisingly, she said she was pretty tired. So I dunno if she''ll be up for it or not, or when she''s on call, etc.

I''d say I''m about 50/50 on making it...really depends on how I feel when I get to leave that day.

that's good for me too, during torrential rain yesterday my aging roof gave it up, and I need to sit home and wait for contractor's estimates on saturday.

Ah, sorry to hear about your roof, LK.

Everytime we get a big blow, I''m fearful of the big oak in my front yard. We have lost 3 trees in rainstorms in the 7 years we have been here. Not to mention Hurricane Alicia putting 5 trees on my roof, way back when. I put a motorcycle helmet on and sat in a closet!!

yesterday i had water running down a wall onto the floor. i knew the roof was aged, just denial kicked in and i didn''t want it to be so sooooon.....

I missed alicia but I heard about it.

have you considered having a tree man out to trim the tree?
